Default FLP Headers how do they compare

I'm ordering header in the winter but im getting a system with cats my pick is between Flp's or Slp's. My car is lowered 1" with BMR springs, everyone tells me that Slps hang low so i will not gound clearance, plus the Flps come with a off pipe too

Save for some QTP or Kook's. It will be worth it when you go to install them.

umm flp's are some of the best fitting headers out there. I installed mine in my garage on jackstands without removing anything but the stock manifolds and cats. flp definaltley > slp. y pipe isn't the best, but it's not horrible.

Lightbulb

I too would get QTPs over either FLPs or SLPs but if those were the only two choices I would pick FLPs over SLPs EVERY time.

Another vote for Kooks/QTP. You can always have an exhaust shop fab you up a system very similar to FLP's, and you'd have a much higher quality header.

Yes they do make a very nice catted Y pipe and unlike the FLPs the headers have a normal long collector (the FLPs have almost none) and are stainless.

FLP's are some of the nicest long tubes out there. they are great if you plan on lowering your car. you get race pipes and hi-flow cats with the y-pipe. they can be interchanged back and forth quickly. no problems with mine and they made great power gains.
