Optimum A/F ratio for NA LS1 I dynoed my SS today and found that my A/F ratio was 12.1-1 which resulted in 333 rwhp. My second pull saw the A/F climb to 12.2-1 which gave me an additional 5 rwhp. I know each car is different but what would be considered an optimum A/F? On my lt1 I think I made the most power with the A/F at 12.9-1.

On a dyno they tune with repeated fourth gear (1:1) runs for AFR/Timing/HP. On the street the PCM continously "learns" at various STFTs, LFTFs and Airflow trims. End result is it leans out on the street.
Tuning Gurus, like NoGo ( he is THE MAN), will tune richer on the dyno to allow for "leaning out" on the street. Yes, this does sacrifice a little HP on the dyno - where do you want the HP -on the dyno ( Dyno-Queen) or on the street??
