Default new dyno numbers 231/237 PPII

Jeff Creech from C.A.M. Carolina Auto Masters flew out to California for the weekend and tuned a bunch of cali cars.

baseline numbers where 391 unlocked and when he was done it was 401rwhp unlocked. The drive ability is alot better and on the freeway its more fun to drive.

one of my electric cutouts woudnt open up and from my history of this car on the dyno its always good for 10rwhp. so i am looking at 411rwhp unlocked. I am going to see if i can get it fixed or exchange it and try to take it back this week to get a couple more pulls on the dyno with it fixed.

these numbers are unlocked. Jeff tried all his tricks to get the converter to lock and it just wasnt going to happen. the converter is a vig. and its about 4200 stall, its pretty loose.

we couldnt get any torque numbers because we couldnt get it to read the rpms that low.

On the graph it starts to peak around 6350 and just hangs out at 400rwhp all the way to 6800 where we shut it down at. it really never starts to drop.

Jeff was saying that i should change to the 5disc clutch converter that vig sells or maybe a 3. so that way i could get it to lock up in 3rd at the track.

How much more do you think i would gain by getting it to lock up on the dyno? and at the track?

thanks Jeff!!

Mike
