Default converter worth trusting?

I may be able to get my hands on a used Vig for fairly cheap, 3400-3500 (I'm unsure on the STR). The car's been on a twin turbo LS1 thats run 10.98, but the converter has only been used 6 times the guy said. He claims it's in perfect working order and still has a free restall left. it's also a 4L60E converter, so to withstand all that power, does it sound like it'll be trustworthy? I mean, it's ridiculously cheap

Id buy a new TCI converter before I bought a used converter for a good price, but alot of people buy used and have very good luck, so it really up to you..

If you bought it, and sent it in for the restall, I
reckon PI would have to go through it and clean
out any swarf, notice anything that looks burnt
or bent, etc.

But at the very least I would want to have it
cleaned out real good before putting it into my
own transmission and I'm not sure how you'd
do that. Maybe a local tranny shop?

I got a COAN Maximum performance 3200 with all the bells and whistles used for $250. with a few months use instead of the nearly $800. retail.

It works amazingly well, very happy with my find.

For 1/3 the selling $ you don't have much to lose!!
