We are doing it again the Evans Water pump GP. We need to get 10 opumps ordered to get these prices guys.

Evans Cooling Systems Incs highflow LS1-6 water pump. The billet coolant pump and pulley flows over 20% more than stock and changes the cooling pattern for a more even cooling. The pump increases cooling efficiency in modified LS1 Corvettes, Camano’s and LS1 based motors. Evans has changed the design of the OEM pump casting and includes a billet pulley hub and heavy duty 3/4" shat bearing assembly. It also includes a 3.8" OD 8 vane scrolled impeller to reduce parasitic horsepower loss at high RPM. A new serpentine belt is required.

Nate, why do we need a new belt? Is the pulley larger or smaller than stock? Just wondering if they are speeding the pump up, or slowing it down. I have seen on their site that they use a more effecient (less hp robbing) impeller, but if they are then speeding it up or slowing it down it seems that would either intensify the savings or negate it.

It is a smaller pulley which speeds up the pump some.

Well Nate, it looks like there are only 2 people possibly interested in getting in on this. I will PM you to see what you can do.

Come on guys this is the water pump required for the Darton sleeve motors. If your car needs extra cooling this will do it.

Test results
Stock pump w/ 160t-stat at 5000rpm flows 55GPM
Evans pump w/ there 160t-stat at 5000RPM flows 85GPM
***Electric pump no t-stat at 5000RPM flows 22GPM *Not what I want on my high HP motor.
