AFAIK they are untouched. The TTPs are handfinished.

I wonder why AFR introduced a 66cc chamber in the first place ?
Edelbrock had their 63cc unit out at SEMA but was iffy on their timing. Trick Flow confirmed that they are "developing an LS head" but still only able to flash a pick. The future looks great. I commend AFR for setting an amazing bar with a great product.

The 02 Z06 that is the car this post is based on, will be on the dyno here in about 2 hrs.... Ive got about the most conservative dyno (I consider it realistic more than conservative) The most a heads/cam 346" car has made on our dyno is about 440-450 rwhp.... Several of those cars in that range are running 11.0-11.50 in full weight 3500-3800 lb street cars...

If this z06 puts down 490 on the dyno here, i will absolutely be jaw dropped and impressed. Cant wait to see it in a while. I'll post later with results..

I keep seeing varying #'s on these heads. What amazes me is the #'s are not even close to each other. Tq #'s ranging from low 400's all the way up to 482rwtq. That's very odd IMO. Some claiming touched and untouched AFR heads. I wish someone would clear up the HUGE differences. It is very confusing to the consumer. If all it takes is a HUGE cam to produce crazy #'s with these heads then this also needs to be cleared up. Compression is a big factor as well, but the consumer needs to know what would work with pump gas or race gas. If there is a variable that the consumer needs to know to provide us with information to help us make a good decision when it comes to spending OUR money. No one likes to get dooped. I am also interested in AFR 225 heads in the future, but I want to know if they are worth sending to FMS/Meaux to add a lil more to them, because in my case that would be a $4k to $5k investment for just heads.
