the k-member and a-arms are unsprung weight and the hood is not. so what one would help me go quicker? thank's, mike c.

if money is not object then I would go with k-member and a-arms vs the hood. K-member has better clearance for LT headers so it has more advantage than just weight. Maybe someone else will chime in here on this one. but that is my .02 ;)

i'd go with the k-member first, then a hood. the only exception might be if it's more of a street car due to the extra shimmies i've heard k's produce. i'm assuming you already have rims and stickies for the track? that should be better than both a hood and front suspension.
hope that helps,
Dave

I'd also say K-member first. It will benifit in more ways then just weight -- clearance especially.

i don't really care about clearance. when i pulled out my ac,air pump and sway bar i lost over 50lbs off the nose. this got me 1.9 tenths at the track, thats why i wanted to know which one would net better et's. k members 42lbs=unsprung weight or hood 30lbs? no,money is no problem and this is a daily driver car. thanks.

for a daily driver id say get the vfn bolton hood with the money you were going to spend on the a-arms and still get the kmember.

so you say hood and k-member only,no a arms? if not why no a-arms?

If money is not an issue than why not do it all! It's so hard to choose which mod to do next they will all better your performance. Personaly I would do a k member and arms first for multiple reasons. The handling & wieght reduction that will greatly increase the overall car will make you  .

well just that some people dont like the a-arms on a daily driver, im guessing they are weaker. plus for the money you could get a hood worth alot more weight savings.
just my o2

well...looks like it WILL be a k-member and a fiber glass hood. i'm trying to get faster with weight reductions and not adding more power. thanks, mike c.
