Default Shaner Tb

How many people are running one of his ported Tb's? What kind of et/mph gains did you pick up or horsepower?

Anyone ever test one ported tb against another?

I have an S3 on my car (01 SS M6)... With lid and loudmouth, my car put down 335 rwhp/345 rwtq.. Dyno after only adding the S3, and put down 343 rwhp/355 rwtq. From comparing graph to another graph there appears to be some decent gains throughout the powerband in addition to the peak gains. Unfortunately, I dont have any track results to compare since those are what really matter, but there were some measurable power gains with the TB.

I've started porting throttle bodies on the side for local people who don't want the downtime utilizing cores I've picked up(1-for-1 direct swap, no waiting). Hopefully in the next couple weeks I can get down to Fastech and do a before/after dyno pull for a stock tb vs my ported unit, and will post up results. It will paired to a LS6 intake, as most people that run ported stock tb's run that intake as well. Should have some pics up in the near future of a finished piece.

I've been researching throttle bodies recently and the Shaner is at the top of my list. He is also coming out with a new billet TB supposed (not ported but brand new) to flow around 100cfm better than a stock one. Supossedly will retail in the low to mid 200s. Not sure if it'll be worth it over a regular ported one though. Only time will tell.

It's a work of art! But it will take a month to get it back. Have a spare to send and be patient.

I live about 3 miles from Mark (Shaner). He is a stand up guy and will do everything he can for his customers. I have had one on for about 3 years and its done great. Its just the S2. Now with the turbo I am going to the S3. You wont be dissapointed with his work.

I want to send my throttle body out. what's the major differences between the S2 and S3. I do not race and have basically no engine mods, just lid filter and CAI. What's the pricing and turnaround? Can I get a phone #?

Weird. I just got mine recently. He emailed me back in the same day. He always replied within 24 hours to all my emails. Shipping took a little while though...but hey...it is awesome. I was impressed.

Mark is a great guy to deal with. His S3 is a piece of quality and workmanship. You will not be dissapointed.

We have plenty of sponsor who can do just as good of a job, and they pay for this place to be here.

I'd suggest supporting those that support this place
