Default T/A spoiler on a Camaro?

Alright, before I get flamed off my ***....This is just a thought that popped into my head tonight, and in no way do I have any current plans to attempt it.

I was thinking about how I love the WS6 spoiler, but I have a Z. Is it possible to put the spoiler on a Camaro? Has it been done? I am not sure if it would flow with the body lines because of the more bulgy rear fenders on the t/a, along with the fact that the camaro fenders are raised higer than the t/a. So any input would be great. Again I think the wing would look great on a camaro, but dont think it would fit correctly.

This is the closest I've seen:

"Behold one of GM's somewhat strange test vehicles. The car is basically tacked together, making it clear that this car is indeed for developing components on the inside, and not showing any concern for body style and image."

Ok that thing is weird. I dont know what it would look like, prolly not so good. I think it would need an extensive amount of molding and shaping for it to fit the look of the camaro. Can anyone photoshop/chop-or whatever that thing is-a TA spoiler on a camaro?

That looks pretty good, except it is a camaro front on a t/a mid section and rear. But, you probably already knew that . I think if it were done right it would look really good, but imo the effort you would put into the body work would be too much. What would be nice is if someone made an aftermarket look-a-like for the 'camaro.

That is very "weird", but most people wouldn't even know the difference.

You could probably reshape the bottom of the T/A spoiler thus making it flatter so that it would fit the Camaro hatch. This mod would be easier if the hatches were the same....you could just swap the entire hatch. Since the fenders dictate the shape of the hatches, that's out of the question.

Plus with the size of t/a side mirros and the placement of these, the door would not open all the way and there would be some cracking going on

its a real car. Dates back to 1997, and there are quite a few pics of it.

there was a post on this a while back.... the camaro has the lips on the quarter panels which comes up farther than the t/a panels... like siad above you would have to modify the lower part of the spoiler... might be possible and it would have some potential to look right...

I don't think the ta spoiler would look bad at all actually, although those images are terribly photochopped (by way of the fenders )

lol its a REAL pic...read the caption, its just a "parts-bin" reject, they just put a TA center a rear section with a 'camaro front end

How weird would it be to drive that car and say I drive a Cam Am. Just sounds goofy, looks even more goofy
