Default TEA has been sold?

I just read in a thread on this forum that there is a rumor that TEA has been sold. Could that be the reason that they are no longer a sponsor here. I always had the feeling that they were one of the more dependable, reliable porters for our heads. Anyone else hear anything?

I just spoke with Brian at TEA and he said nothing about that. I really don't think that's the case, but anything can happen I guess.

I know they're moving, but haven't heard about them being sold. I spoke to Brent this morning about a set of heads they are doing for me (no mention).

The question remains why are they no longer sponsors? It's not like it costs big bucks to be a sponsor on these forums. The amount of business that LS1 Tech alone generates has to be huge.

It will still be business as usual at TEA. They will just be in a new location. All of the staff are remaining with TEA. I know they are all very excited about this move and what it means to TEA, as we all in the ls1 community should. I know Brian was going to announce it on here when everything was set in stone.

Well, they're moving to Ohio. I'm getting the car tuned for the spray this Sat. When I talked to Brent he said we'd need to get it done before the 15th, cause after that they'll be gone. As far as all the staff staying, it's not positive last I heard. Unless someone else finds out more details before I get back on Sat, I'll be sure to let everyone know what I find out.

Brian has told us some of what the deal is but not all of the details, plus it is not my place to say what is what, they are moving and it will be an interesting development to watch to say the least. As far as business as usual after the 15th I can't speak on that, I am sure one of the TEA guys will find some time to enlighten the LS1tech crowd as soon as possible, but they are busy finishing up orders that are in house before the move.

The interesting question is where in Ohio. Brian told me a few weeks ago. When you know where, more of the details will become very obvious. Brian mentioned a few interesting names as well, but again, I think it is Brian's place to tell the details.

In Ohio, let's see I'm guessing it's one of three places, greater Cincinnati, the Columbus area or northern Ohio around Akron. If I had to bet I'd say Columbus.... Although Cincinnati would be perfect for me!

That same little bird that told me about it being trickflow also said that they were NOT going to be concentrating on LS1 heads like they were in the past. But, there could be a trickflow LS1 head in the future.

Well I'd hope they still can work thier magic on our LS1 heads. After they move they will be a couple of hours closer to me. Hope things don't change too much.

I just hope they don't become mass produced garbage, like, ahem, some other heads. I hope that Brian T. is still involved, and is allowed to produce the best possible product, instead of the cheapest, most cost effective product.
