Ok i have heard that the ws6's can come with an ls6 block Can anyone tell me how u know what u got??

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the quick easy way is just to look at the color of the block. The LS6 is a darker shade, and not as shiney as the LS1. Unfortunately there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason from a build number prospective. My car had a build date of 8/01 and I didn't get it. From reading on the internet seems a few people with build dates almost a year before mine got it, and others built later, but the majority just got the regular LS1.

there is a SPECIFIC part number..if you don't have the exact number you don't have the block...it's no big deal anyhow
