Default '99 M6 with boltons... low #'s?

I got two pulls at Speed Inc:

Pull 1:
HP: 342.5
TQ: 348.8

Pull 2:
HP: 342.4
TQ: 351.8

I will try to get my graph scanned and posted. There is a wierd dip in power from 5600 RPM through 6000 RPM. I would like an opinion on what that could be as soon as I get the graph up. I sure hope that nothing is wrong.

Mods are in my sig. So what do you all think? It's still on the stock tune. The numbers seem a bit low to me, since my friend's 2002 z28 got 340.9 HP and 352.7 TQ on the same dyno on a differant day and he's still running cats! Also, he has more power under the curve, too, which confuses me since I have true duals and he has a GMMG.

...Maybe I'm just freaking over nothing. I am untuned after all.

Oh, BTW, my Air Fuel ratio was 12.9 across the board, so I think that's okay, right?

They seem pretty good to me, mine did 345/351 thru the muffler with an Air/fuel of 12.0 across the board, with a stock tune, mods in sig.

What's a 340 with headers basically? I'm serious here, I don't know what you're talking about.

The next part I get! Cam or heads and cam are for sure in my future!

Yes, but you're actually making more, since those 3.73's report lower than stock gears. And will a 12.9 A/F make more power than a 12.0? Or is it the other way? Plus, should not the true duals make more, or is that just under the curve? (which would still stink for me 'cuz I seem to be down on the low end... arrr I want to post the graph)

Numbers seem good to me, but then again I only have 300 RWHP . Seriously though, that's still good, over 400HP at the engine and every car is different. Like how my car consumes no oil... but Joe Blow down the street might drink 1 quart every 3000 miles.

Dyno day is Saturday... I'll be happy if I gain 1 HP with my new tune, and removel of that retarded IAT temp tricker. I can't believe I found that on my car

Your numbers are right where they should be. You might be able to find a little more power by leaning it out some, but i wouldn't go much leaner than 13.2

Remember, your friends 02 has the LS6 intake. I know it does not account for a huge amount of power but those 01-02 LS1s seem to really put down more power mod for mod than the 97-00s.

A 12.9 A/F should make a little more power than 12.0, and as far as i've seen the true duals help under the curve but i've seen cars loose a little on the low end as well.

I thought my numbers were low also but after reading your post, I think I'm dead on. Mine also needs tuning.

My stock '99 only made 305 or 307rwhp, so I think you did good.

Indeed I do have an LS6 intake. Ricekillman, are your numbers with the Ford rear and the 4.10's? Because both of those cost power on the dyno. Also, the flowmaster exhaust is not known for putting out good #'s. (although it is quite known for sweeeet sound)

My point? I should be making a lot more than you, but I'm not. I dunno, maybe it's just that I need tuning...

I think your number's are right on, especially being untuned. I have very similar setup as you except I don't have true dual's, but I also don't have muffler's either. I figured I'd be in the 340-350rwhp range once I get it dyno tuned. Before the LT's, ory and LS6 intake I dynoe'd 315rwhp and 326rwtq.

I meant with your mods your numbers are average, basically intake and headers and you got over 340 were you expecting something different.

Since you use the past tense, does that mean that you have now dynoed with the LT's, ORY, and LS6 intake? If so, what #'s?
