Default Problems after intake install, please help!!!

After installing the LS6 intake with the LPE adapter, my car idles at 3k rpms. Also, there was quite a lot of coolant loss when I put in the plugs for the coolant lines, which I assume is what's causing the steam from the back of the engine. Any ideas for either one? I'm going to rtv the LPE adapter where it connects to the EGR just to make sure it's not leaking. Thanks y'all!

I would go to ls1howto.com, and make sure you did it all right, that doesnt sound right... leaky coolant? shouldnt be any such thing unless they arent tight...

Ok, got it figured out. After looking around the forums, checked my tb and found that the cylinder that holds the wire in wasn't installed completely. After fixing that, car runs smoooooth, and faster too, heh heh Glad the LPE adapter seems to work fine without RTV'ing the EGR tube.

How are those HS RR's working out?
