Modded VW vs My pretty much stock ws6 Ok, I was following BlownFRC and 00SS2470 or somethign like that, anyways he is a member here! I was following them when they were racing and I left my stick in 3rd gear, didn't feel much like downshifting, anyways, there was a TDI I think, beside me, it is modded, better bigger turbo, some other **** done to it and its pretty fast... anyways, when BlownFRC and the other guy took off, I was in third and we were going about 35mph, so my car just bogged down a bit and the VW got about 2 cars on me, I was thinking "****" this thing cannot beat me, and not to my surprise, my trusty V8 performed some nice suck up action, don't really know how many cars I got on him, but I wasn't really aware of where he was when I hit 5th, he's a pretty cool guy, we raced a couple more times, with better starts and I wasn't in the wrong gear! I almost got embarrassed!

I HIGHLY doubt it was a TDI... most likely a 1.8T, if it was turbocharged. The TDI's are absolute garbage(performance wise), but they are designed for fuel efficiency. I think the fastest TDI is somewhere in the low 15's... maybe high 14's... The amount of torque produced by the deisel engine just snaps the transmissions too... So, anyway... I bet its a 1.8T, and they can be made fast for relatively cheap. Good kill

I found out its some sort of Jetta, but he's upgraded the turbo and done some other goodies... it can beat stock GTs but I killed him, has a license plate of IBEATV8S... well, he definitely didn't beat this one, by any means. 
Once he had 2-3 cars on me when we took off cuz I was in third gear and I sucked him up, then he disappeared... but, its a kill no less.

I love mouthin off to people with stupid license plates like that. I've found most of them won't even race. I guess they figure if they don't race me, they automatically win, and their license plate didn't lie???
