z28 on juice vs. supra?
Ok, some guys wants me to race his friends supra. I have heard it has a best of 12.70. My best is 12.55 @ 110.7. He says I can spray and he Will bet $100 on the supra winning.
This car has stock twin turbos. Its an Auto. He was suppose to be getting a stall but not sure if he has. Would his car stalled beat me with a 125 shot on my car? Or would he have to spray? And would it be easy for me to look for nitrous and find it on his car?

my friends brothers cousins friends roomate said.....don't believe anything until you see a timeslip. if he does only run 12.7 and you run 12.5 without nitrous, you will kill him if you use the juice.

if he has the stall and say a drag radial, he will have good traction and a good amount of boost at all levels of the powerband...he could also be spraying...the 12.7 is about right, but remember, that was prolly on a street tire and stock stall like you said. I would do a little investigating on supra forums and see what others are running with the same mods and that should give you a start

run him with your e/t streets on and the spray, you should kill him. It seems that a lot less supras get into the tens then people say they do, and if hes on stock twins hes not going to be that fast. and if you beat his best without the giggle gas you should have no problem even if he uses some.
But id check out supraforums just incase, dont wanna lose $100.

yeah they normally try racing with 18inch low profile tires make sure he is non street tires and big rims like most of them and you have slicks and the shot and race from a dig not a roll.

the kicker is what does he want to race from, if he says any kind of a punch I would not run him, a friend of mine had a mkIII supra and I would destroy him in race from a stop and a roll but one time he brake boosted me and kept up amazingly well (his car was prob a low 15 sec automatic car) good luck and let us know what happens.

like people have said before..what's the difference in a 400HP Supra and a 800 HP supra?.........nothing, they both have 12 second timeslips. IF you got a 150 shot on top of that you should have him good

Exactly what i was thinking except i was going to say 12.7@1897843258425903245mph Basically if he is putitng better tires on and is getting most of his power down you could find yourself in trouble real quickly. Is this race at the track? If not make sure you race him from a stop and cut it off before he has a chance to reel you in.

I wouldn't go from a roll at all for money. I also have a friend with a mkIII supra with bolt-ons. From a dig i can take him easy, but he can keep up from a roll surprising well. The mkIV are also like 3700 pounds?(correct me if i'm wrong) And that doesn't help them from a dig either. Go from a dig and good luck. Video would be nice.
