Default Paging Big Mike and other th350 owners...

I am wanting to convert to the strength of a 3 speed and the also the options of a transbrake. I would rather go to a 3 speed but I have heard of the idea of a lock-up th350.

So does anyone have any info on this?

I had a lockup TH350 in my old car, you can not buy a manual valve body or trans brake for a TH350C (factory GM lockup 350). Unless they are converting a regular TH350 to some sort of aftermarket lock up, which I dont think anyone does, you are stuck with the stock valve body.

My lockup never worked right, when it did work the RPM wasnt really a huge difference when cruising, going up a steep hill made a big difference but other then that its only a couple hundred RPM if that. I ended up disconnecting it and never using it..
