Default O2s and WOT

Do the oxygen sensors change fuel @ WOT?

The only way for them to do that, is indirectly -
by the LTFTs. If the O2s pushed LTFTs positive
then the WOT mixture would carry the extra
enrichment. But anytime your commanded fuel
air multiplier is > 1.00 they are just "along for the
ride".

How about this...I recently removed the O2s. Could that make the fuel enrichment do funny stuff?

It should have put you open loop and no trimming.
But I don't know whether there's any "fault mode"
that might give you a little bonus (like pulling the
MAF puts earlier year cars onto the low octane
spark table, etc.). Do you log this car?

Phill I have my wb logging cable to use with HP tuners. YOu can borrow it if you want...

The cable and software will plot out your avg AFR throughout the ve table so you can get it dailed in.
