Question Radio/Clock dosen't turn off (Security Light)

[Trans AM -99]

Often when I turn off the car the light on the radio/clock will still light. I try to move the key between Run, off, Lock but it will not help.

If I leve the car and turn the alarm on, I will not here the horn sound as i usually do when the radio clock is off (can here the alarm horn sound if I press the remote-control 2 times). When I have turn the alarm on, the Security light then light up.

I don't like to have my car parked at nights and this light is on inside.
Also think it will drain my battery when I long time parking the car.

If i enter the car and start it up the security light will go out, so there is no problems to start the car.... and if Im lucky the next time I turn the car off the radio clock also goes out. (and when i alarm it I can here the horn sound).

When everything working I can here a ticking sound (like some realy) at the front of passenger side when I move the key between on and off.....
When the radio clock dosen't goes out I can't here that sound.
So is there some sort of realy that can be broken?
Os maybe something is wrong in the Key-cylinder???

Anyone that can help me with this?
Any ideas?

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your question, but I can tell you that you might get a better response in the Stereo & Electronics section.
