I saw a post the other day about possibly getting rear corvett replacement 02's because the wires are long enough that you dont need to use the extensions any more. I think the problem might even be that the extensions are letting watter in and messing with the input. Has anyone done this? Any problems? Does it matter what year?

The 'vettes have a higher heater wattage which
fights headers' cooling effect on the O2s. The
part numbers you want are
Denso DEN 234-4087
Bosch 13111
Get them at whichever (AutoZone, Advance, ...)
will give you the better price & warranty. The going
rate seems to be about $75 a pop, times two.

REAR O2's on vette have same plug as F-body...just longer wire
and higher wattage.
