What did you do with the motor mount "pedestals" on your k-member? Cut them off, leave them there, what? Would it weaken the k-member if the "pedestals" were cut off? Thanks, Shawn

We cut em off !
Most k-members dont utilize the motor mounts
as the suspension supports. Ask the company
that you bought it from if questionable. They
do yeild a lot of wieght so if not used, cut em!

i just talked to ProFab about mine, and he said to cut them off, grind smooth, and paint. no weakening what so ever, and i told him the car may even see 1500hp some day. doubt he would tell me something that could possibly kill me, really decent guy.
