Default info on P/V clearance please...

alright so i have been debating on what cam to do and i keep gettin bigger and bigger. lookin at about 240 duration and im not sure about the lift. i dont wanna have to go fly cutting the pistons and i wanna have a higher compression. do i just have to get less lift or what? i dont really know too much about this but i have been trying to search, no real technical info about it just people askin if they should check it. how do u know when u have to check it?

You can check with the manufacturer before you buy the cam. I know TSP says w/ thier cams whether or not you'll have to fly-cut or swap the pistons.
