WHats wrong?
Ok, got the car all jacked up and ready to put the new sensors in. Got the first one in and started on the second and realized they gave us two different plugs. The second wasnt the right one. What frickin idiots Pep Boys has working for them.
So we put the old one back in and it runs like S***, i am bummin really bad. I just cant figure whats wrong with it, but hopefully we will get the new one in and it will run better. Also, i am hearing a whistling type noise coming from the turbo? But only until the car gets warmed up. Does anyone else have this problem. And also, i was watching the RPM's and it looks like as soon as it goes over 2500 thats when its not getting enough gas?
For those of you that are wondering what the hell im talking about, my cam is not getting enough gas, it tries to go and sounds like it wants to but takes forever and so we took it to pep boys and they did a flow chart and said bad o2 sensors.

Your car requires a heated o2 sensor, and there are a few different ones out there (different connectors). If you would like to use a GM sensor let me know the vin # and I will get you the correct part #. As for your car running worse with the old sensors, it could be that when you pulled them out you broke the sensor and it's not geting a good reading, or alot of build up broke loose and is not allowing the sensor to read. Let me know if I can help!!

Hey Mr. Jones, is it ok if I have my husband call you? His name is Todd.
I didnt know there were different sensors. We just got regular o2 sensors, i guess they just pulled them up by make of car.

Posn #1 (would be in the exhaust manafold) GM #25312203. Your cost at SDPC is $90.28. The other one you need, posn #3 (just past the conv) is GM part # 25312207. Your cost at SDPC is $89.89.
If your husband would like to call, I will help in any way that I can. If I can do anything else let me know!!

I got it know, we went back to Pep Boys and they said #1 and #3 are out, which are the ones that were changed, or attempted!

See the thing that gets me, is that we replaced one of the o2 sensors, because they gave us the wrong one for the other side. So right now it has a new one in #1 and an old one in #3.
The thing that gets me though is if we just let the car work its way to a higher speed it will, it just takes a minute but if we try to press the pedal, it doesnt go anywhere, we have to lewt it work up to it?
