Special Edition Vehicles - Wildfire T/A

Anybody ever heard of the Wildfire T/A. I haven't seen or heard anything about them in years. We had an 84 white with grey suede(sp?), as I remember it was suede, interior. It had the word "wildfire" painted on both doors. That car ran like a scalded dog. Never could keep a tranny in it though. Anyone know or heard about them?

Never heard about it, i have read many books on the Firebird & don't recall this one. Maybe it was a dealer only option?
