Default Which spoiler?

Ok I'm picking up the Z this weekend. It will be completely stock for about 3 hours. Which spoiler do you guys recommend that would fit nicely with VFN's 3" SS hood? Thanks in advance.

Nothing looks better than an OEM SS Spoiler IMO

Hmmmm then this one would look sweet then. 1" higher than the stock SS spoiler.

Im always lookin for pics of SS hoods and what not on NBM camaros (thats what I have too) gotta say, im not diggin it...its too big!!! It does give it that old school muscle car era look, but I dont think that look goes well the rest of the car. Dunno if that makes sense.

I know what you mean but it would be nice to purge through that opening. The regular SS hood is too small IMO.

I have to say I'm not a fan of that hood either! I would get the Ultra Z if you don't like the SS hood - wait a minute you weren't asking about the hood -

Check out my spoiler (site in sig) it's pretty big, might offset the large scoop better than the SS spoiler....

How high is the stock SS hood? I could ask Roger from US exotics if he can make a hood size that is inbetween.

i would agree with the stock or 1" raised SS spoiler. also, i personally love the 3" SS hood from VFN. i have a c/f version, paintable style. i think it looks better on light color cars for whatever reason. hey, anyone wanna buy it?
$1338 new, which it is, $900+shipping. going with a tall deck SBC with a big intake and an elbow style plenum. highly doubt it will fit under this hood with that setup. 3 or 4 pics on my homepage.

later,
Dave

ps, pm me if interested, not trying to steal this thread.

I dont like the 3" hood it doesnt go with the rest of the car, Also think the spoiler would look better if it had the 2 uprights on it like a real SS spoiler. JMHO

i will agree with 69 Yenko. the SS spoiler just doesn't look right without the 2 uprights.

Dave
