Southern Members - Great Day at the Track-change sig again! lol

Had a great time at the track again! David ran 7.66 @ 92.73 mph, Steven ran 7.4s and almost 100 mph spraying. And I had a new best 7.583!!!! Check sig!!

I said a couple of months ago that with the right weather I would see 7.5s and tonight was the night!!! Everyone ran great and Steven got his mph back that he ran all motor!

hay yall i met a black camaro tonight with a 383 and a 200 shot. the car looked ok but the engine was preaty hot and so was the way that thing ran.

You guys will get it one day, and when that day comes, I will be there to explain it... all in good time... all in good time... oh and sly, I wasn't making a comment about the time as if it wasn't impressive... don't worry, he's faster than me so I keep my stock ass away from him, nice times..

Hey Steve, have you ever run the 1/8th off the bottle? Just wondering what difference a 100 shot makes in the 1/8th. I ran mine bone stock once, but never got back down there when I had the nitrous hooked up.

Yeah, thanks, your truck is sweet. I'm not a truck person, but that one is just sharp, I really love the color. I'm sure that truck runs pretty damn good with all that torque it makes. I definately have to get a ride sometime. I can't wait to get all the bugs worked out with that damn blower. Its a blast to drive, the feeling of boost is great, which I'm sure you know. Its just the little things that bug you. I just try to ignore the things that are wrong and race anyway, but deep down, I know whats wrong. Hopefully friday I can get out to Durham again for some more tuning. Its getting to the point where I'm going to have to have a serious talk with Jeff Creech about twin turbo tuning, but we'll see how the day goes.

Sounds like everyone ran good. Weather is the key for these LS1's and power. Becky, why didn't you run better on the et streets? I would think your 60ft would have dropped.

Oh Becky, its time for some exhaust mods this winter so you can see even better times next year.

My Nittos were hooking up better good. The weather got colder after I gave up the ET Streets to David, I might have even done better if I still had them on!!

My head is still spinning from the 7.5s run, not ready to change anything just yet......but as everyone on here knows.....that only last so long.....:bang:

Next friday I think is there last test n tune. Gates open up at 6:00pm and race at 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

i have that set of ls1 heads that have been worked on milled and ported and polished and that cam its a preaty good set up.

Great job everyone. :hail: I had a blast and wished I didn't have to leave so early. The car only ran 7.7's on motor, but she still has alot more in her. These were done on my nitto's slipping the clutch out and running high 1.8 60 ft's. It will be in race trim the next showing. This was the way I have been running around with it on the streets. The nitrous pass was with a 100 shot coming on at the end of 1st. I tried it at 3 grand but blew the tires off. Congates for all the new personal bests. :hail: How did the video's come out? Can you post them?

Oh and if there is some dought still if I sprayed someone or not the other night, we can try it again and I will show them what nitrous smells like! If that is what you are saying.

So, you're getting rid of your HC setup? How much? Weren't you supposed to race Blown with that setup and some nitrous? Not sure what I want to do... how does the setup effect driveablility?

Umm, I'm guessing your talking to me, right? Its hard to tell, if your talking to me, just say so. You don't have to say "someone". I ran my car at the 8th bone stock, and was just curious what the difference would have been in the 8th, since I never had a chance to test it out. Thats all. I don't see what that has to do with last weekend. I haven't spoke of nitrous since last weekend when you said you didn't spray me. All I've said is your car runs amazing for all motor. It does. Let the nitrous thing go, and take the compliment.

it all just depends on the car and driver how you can put the power down. The car ran a 7.55 @96 with an auto but only runs 7.7's now @93. It will run better with some gears in it and some et streets on it. The car ran a 7.09 with a 150 shot as an auto and now runs 7.4's with a 100 shot and a T56. But it ran the mph as it did with a 150 shot off the line and sat I only could spray it in second to keep the tires from blowing off. So I'm sure it will run around 100 mph with the streets on it. Come on down and watch or run. I think I might be going back thurs if weather is nice.

yeh it ran a blistering 1.766. That is the best it would do. I needed a better converter like yours.

I was always told that it wouldn't do me much good to get a cam without at least having LT headers. But I wanted the "lope" of a cam and would be happy with even a small increase in hp, I was after the sound!! But I would say it did pretty darn good!

Thanks for the truck vid, but he wanted the 8.4 run to see how bad it was spinning in 2nd. The run you got he never got out of second. Driver error, couldn't find third.

I couldn't agree more. Your car is insanely fast, especially when considering the fact that you're still running the stock manifolds. And like Steve said, I couldn't think of anyone who deserves it more. :)
