If you caught Spike channel "Horse Power tv" today @ 1pm, they had a stock 00' LS1 and did a few mods to bump it to 331 rwhp. They don't do a lot of detail as to the little steps in between and make putting new headers on look like a snap :eyes:
I had to laugh when one guy says "It was easier than changing the ones on my LT1 but it still is worth the time" (or something really close to it), had me cracking up of course.

They ordered a specific tuner that added about 13hp just by plugging it in and letting it re-tune everything - but I didn't catch where they got it, not to mention no price (it can't be cheap!).

Overall it caught the basics, I'm going to try to look up the show and see if they have any details online. They kinda ranked on the LT1 for comparison but I'll take it in stride. The site doesn't say much more, figures.

Sometimes Spike's HP TV is worth watching for ideas the only thing is they leave out so much of the little stuff I can see where people get in over their heads in a hot second.

Is it worth it?
SuperChips (http://www.superchips.com/html/products/gm/cars.htm) for a bump of 12 to 18 hp I can't justify the price that will only tune a 93' LT1.

It was probably a predator... I think I remember that episode... they put some edelbrock midlength/shorty headers on a camaro?
