It has been a while since I raced anything on the road the last month or so. But, last night I wanted to see how my car was doing compared to some of the big dogs on Gratiot I guess.

First race was me vs. a silver GTO. First race we did I kill him by like 10 cars. He said he forgot to downshift to second. Anyway, second race we go from a first gear roll. He gets a half car lead in 1st and another half in 2nd(Thank you fwd) But I come screaming back in 3rd and put a car on him and shut it down at about 80mph.

This is the race that I really wanted to share. I was crusing when I see a beautiful orange Cobra. They look awesome in that orange. Anyway, he asks me to run em on some other road and I say yes and we proceed to drive off Gratiot. So, we are rolling at about 30mph when we both punch it. I got a car on him in 3rd gear but a little into 4th he caught up and fell back again(He shifted). Second race was from a roll again. I beat him by a little more due to having more traction. Last race was from a dig. I thought I was going to get handed but what the hell....Whats a fast car if I cant launch it? So, we are lined up at at light and it hits green and we are off. I hit second and im two cars head???? Hit 3rd and I have put a bus or two on him. His passenger said he was a rookie which I believed.

I also had a passenger who weighed at like 230 pounds so both races were even.

After the last race my clutch went. Time to upgrade.

Guess you modded a little since I last got your times. Nice kill on the Cobra..and that guy in the Cobra needs to learn how to drive if he lost a dig vs a FWD car.

Its just slap on parts. Turbo Upgrade, bigger intercooler/injectors, fuel system will hopefully be installed by the end of the spring. THATS when I will be modded. Until then I will just dream.

That guy REALLY needs to practice. It wasnt even like he rebounded....I just kept pulling while he was making smoke.

It will be more like high 12's @ 120 FWD

My mods are Stage 1, Exhaust (3 in no cats), wastegate, MBC. Last time I went to the track I trapped 106@ stock boost. Now I am at 17psi. My car is actually stronger then most stage 2 cars around here for some unknown reason.

N2O is still in the air. If I REALLY get crazy and dont want traction in ANY gear then ill slap a 75shot but I dont really see myself surpassing 450whp.

450hp? What do you Srt4 guys do about torque steer with high hp cars?

Only thing we can do is Slicks. Some coil-overs, motor mounts, and maybe a few other handeling mods. Other then that its all about knowing how to use all that power.

-Dont Wot from first to second.
-Let go of gas peddel very quickly in second and press to get traction again.
-Dont launch at more then 2000rpms from a dead stop.
-When experiancing wheel hop in 1st or 2nd.....BLAH BLAH BLAH. It is really a headache in the beginning but after a while you would get used to it.

Sounds like a pretty fast SRT. Glad I don't live up there near you and Dan. I would have an inferiority complex.
