New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Storage question
Storing the T/A in a heated garage. Its a bit damp, at least in the spring, just wondering if I should put plastic underneath the entire car to reduce any moisture probs?

How long do you inted to store it though? Are we talking years and year for collection purposes, or is this just a short term thing?

Just over the winter.
I was thinking just add stabil to a full tank of premium, back it in, cover it up, and it should be ready to roll again next April/May. My concern was moisture coming up from the concrete and rusting the heck out of the underside. Makes sense that plastic underneath can't hurt... anything else I should be doing?

If you are worried about moisture most storage facilities, or probably Walmart will sell a Moisture Absorber, I have found that these help to absorb quite a bit of the moisture. The plastic is good or if you have some old carpet this usually helps not only for the moisture but for the tires as well.

What should you do with chrome wheels on the car when storing? Would leaving polish on them help or don't worry about it?
