Hoping for the best
I brought my car down to Mikey at Rapid to get a few things on my car taken care of. I get a call today that the valve springs that were in my car that had a 6900 limiter WERE STOCK. The shop that put the cam in (wont tell who they are.....yet) never upgraded the springs! even though i payed for them. I let them know that they are the wrong springs and they said they will refund me my money. Mikey is gonna pressurize the cylinders today to change them and we will see if any are bent....I doubt it scince the car actualy ideas good and there are no taps. Wish me luck

So you were running stock springs with a 224/224 .581 cam.. You're one lucky SOB... Revving to 6900, everyone one of those damn springs should have grenaded.
Maybe its just me, but if I did happen to PAY someone to do that kind of work. I'd more than likely pull the valve covers when I got home to check things out. But maybe that's just me..

Wait it gets better....ITS NOT A 224/224 .581!!! It is actually a 224/228 .581/.588! I am suprisingly calm. 1 cuz i dont think that anything is bent and even if they are......that shop is paying for everything....I even called my laywer in advance to get him ready. Its funny part of me want everything to be ok and part of me wants them to be bent.

PG45, At least your car is in good hands now with Mikey working on it. I can't believe they didn't even upgrade your springs when they installed the cam!!! ****** just lost alot of my respect if all of this is true.

Everything was bought new thru that shop. If there is any internal damage they are going to pay.

No clue what coil bind height is on stock springs, but if you hit it you'll know when Mikey calls back.
