Default Need help choosing new setup for next year...

Well its winter time again and we need to decide on the engine setup for next year. The car is driven 3-4 times a week and raced on the weekends. Since we do all of the tuning race or pump gas is an option.
Setup 1:
346cid forged bottom
AFR 205s possibly hand finished 12.0:1
242/250 XER cam
Fast 90mm intake
NW 90mm TB
Jesel Rockers
It will probably make 500-525rwhp on the motor and 700 to 725 on nitrous.

Option 2:
346cid forged bottom
AFR 205s 9.25-9.4:1
Smaller SC cam + stock rockers
F1r
LS6 intake and ported TB
This setup should make 650-775rwhp.

Looking for different opinions and why.
Phil

I would do the N/A 346. I owned a 5.0 mustang with an all out S-trim setup and it really made me hate forced induction... it was really picky and didn't run as consistantly as I thought it should have. I'll be doing a N/A high compression 346 setup very similiar to what you have listed above this winter.

Well, if you want the easier choice, then the nitrous setup is the answer (and best IMO). The F1 isn't exactly fun to fit into a C5. Unless you're just sick of nitrous and want to go a different route (with more headaches) I say combo number one.

One more thing, spend the money that you would have used on the SC, and get a bigger motor!
