Default Fitting C5R Valve Covers

I recently bought a set of C5R valve covers to be installed on my LS6-headed 427 motor. The spacers (actually, the sleeves that fit on the hold-down bolts) supplied with the covers are apparently for C5R heads, which have different height bosses for the bolts. Has anyone figured out the proper length for spacers for LS1/LS6 heads?

Hi.You will need approx.anyware from .060 to.070 thousands of a inch crush on the gasket. You will have to do the math the distance from inside the cover
to the gasket installed on the rail plus from the head flange to the mounting boss in the head(should be .690") then substract crush.
