My buddies 98 SS with near same mods and A4 put out about 276rwhp and he runs a dyno shop so there was no mistakes made in the run. Still runs decent times, but Dynos are good for tuning. Sorry I cant help you out.

That is a poor hp number, but tq looks good for your mods.

If it was a mustang dyno it sounds about right. If it was a dynojet the numbers are a bit low by about 10-20 hp. If it was on a dynojet it looks like time for an LS6 intake manifold. Your stock LS1 manifold may be limiting your intake and exhaust mods. I dynoed 332rwhp and 344rwtq with the mods bellow through factory exhaust. Although I may have a factory freak. BTW, I also removed the HPP3 programing for that run and gained about 3 peak rwhp from a previous pull.

13's flat is a good run. I've only manage a best 13.2 @ 105 with about 2.1 60' so there is a lot more on the car with decent traction. I'm thinking of getting MT ET streets early next year and watch my rear go

My results before the LS6 intake were 333 rwhp 342rwtq. I run 12.8 @110 in the 1/4. hope this helps. The hp seems low but the tq seems ok. possibly the corection factor is off on the dyno?

I have a 98 A4 car as well and I dynoed that with similar mods. The only differences between your car and mine at the time are the Borla catback and the asp pulley I would think you should be at about 310-320 with those mods.

I hope you find more power than that,it seems kinda low on horsepower to me.
My 2000 A4 SS put down 289.9/297.7 (HP/TQ) dead stock.
And i ran a best of 13.2@105 2.0 60ft on factory tires with that power level.
My best 1/4 to date(without nitrous) has been 12.2 @110 1.62 60ft on DR's
I have Hooker LT's,ORY,Borla,NGK TR6's,SS4000(Yank convertor),SIMs,Lid,free mods and that;s about it....Still has stock 3:23 gears.
I hope there is something holding you back, and you find it soon. With a stock torque convertor i would have thought the results would have been greater than that.
Good luck.( P.S. any dyno numbers stock?)

A4's dyno lower than M6's. The 3.73's will eat a few horse power, but not much. How was your A/F ratio? Have you had the car tuned? Some dyno's just dyno lower than others. Dyno's are only a tuning tool, it's the track times that matter.

Taylor wires suck!
Try MSD's 8mm instead and a good tune.

uti in illinois is notorious for having a low showing dyno. it wouldnt surprise me if the otehr campuses were the same.

compare your dyno run to the schools cars- they should have an LS1 there for you to look at. the illinois campus had a 99 ws6 that would put down only 271hp on their dyno with an lsx intake and everything else stock.

Dude, don't feel bad about your numbers. Mine are in sig (with mods). I was devastated going from 369 locked, adding a new trans, ls6 intake and a retune then hitting 343

Can't take it to the track because the weather is lousy and I still haven't had a chance to break in the new trans (only 60 miles on it in two weeks).

FWIW, my last pass at the track was a 12.18 at 110.62 with mods listed in sig except for the ls6 intake and new trans. If I do the same or better next time out, I could care less what it shows on the dyno.

Nods dyno numbers seem low, but what you can actually do in the 1/4 prolly mean a lot more.

Im itching to see what sort of 1/4 times I can do this spring.
