Default Gm Hot Cam Help

I've heard through the grape vine that you need to change the springs out every 30k on an aftermarket cam...the hot cam doesn't seem too aggressive and I'll never be in the red...so does this apply?

It has less lift than the Z06 cam, and the ramp rates are not aggressive. If you can handle the tuning it's an excellent choice with stock heads.
