Default teflon tape or liquid teflon "tape"

My electric oil sending unit seems to be leaking at the treads. I drilled and tapped the blank jet just above the oil filter. The gauge works fine but the damn oil leak is not gonna cut it! HELP!!! If you suggest the "liquid" how long do you let it dry before starting the car up? And I made sure the 10mm bolts that hold the jet on are nice a snug and tightned the sender snug too. I just don't want to strip the threads!

Thanks

Brian

We used regular teflon tape after tapping mine. No leaks at all.

Just pull it out, use some break clean to get rid of the oil, and use teflon tape on it.

Either will perform the job the same. The liquid is easier to work with and you can crank it as soon you get it back together.
