If you go on e-bay and search for "camaro carpet", you'll get a couple results like these:

Auction 1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33697&item=7935115000&rd=1), by "stock_interiors"

Auction 2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33697&item=7936181577&rd=1), by "carpet4cars"

These carpets are in the sub-$150 range. Cheaper than the Speed Inc and Year One stuff... both companies claim that MSRP on their stuff is in the $300 range.

I'm looking to trim weight, but at the same time I don't want boating carpet. Anybody tried this?

I have some ebay carpet in my 93 Trans Am. I think it was about $75 or something and made by ACC.. and extremely light. Fit is ok. Be careful though.. some of the cheap ones do not include the rear part of the carpet and only go to the back seat cusions!! The first auction you posted says it doesn't include that part.

You can also call summit or jegs.. they have really cheap stuff.. but again make sure it's the entire carpet before ordering it.

I weighed mine and it was about 10#'s after I removed all the sound deadening that comes on it (cheap stuff). Mine only included the carpet up to about the back seats (middle of where the cusion would go). I am going to buy some more for my 95 LS1 car, but I am going to make sure I get the entire carpet!!

If you're picky about appearance it probably isn't the best as it is cheap material. ;) But the contours were ok and I can't complain for the price.
