Default Coated vs. uncoated hedders

How much longer would coated hedders last over uncoated ones? (like Pacesetter or Flowtech LS1 LTs) I did a forum search and found nothing. Any thoughts?

FWIW, my uncoated Pacesetter's on my 94 Camaro warped in a month and left me with a nasty exhaust leak when the header didn't fit square against the head anymore. I now have Hooker coated LT's with no issues.

I don't think the coating makes the headers stronger? If so, that is new to me. I ordered uncoated because my manifolds were uncoated and the rust color didn't bother me one bit They lasted for 6 years with no leaks or nothing. We will see how long these last.

The coating will not make any more power, but will likely last longer because they are less likely to rust.
