My 01 Hawk has SLP longtubes, minicats and y-pipe with all emissions equipment attached. It was throwing SES codes a few months back. Had the dealer look at it, and it took them forever to get the code to go away. It did for about six months, now its back again. It comes on for a couple of days, goes off for about a week. Car runs fine. Instead of going to the dealership again, I'm thinking of taking it to Revxtreme in Brandon for diagnosis. Is this something they do? Has anyone here had firsthand experience with them? Do they accept extended warranties?

i am not sure about extended warrantys, but yes take your car to Rev Xtreme. They will take a look at your Hawk and make your car run great again (maybe better than ever) ;) go and stop by and tell them "gator" sent ya lol. great shop.

Redarrow, we would be more than happy to get your Hawk back in shape to fly again... unfortunately, at this time, we don't have the ability to do extended warranty work.

That's unfortunate. I really want to take the car to someone that has an understanding of modded cars. What does your company charge to do diagnostic work? I have a feeling it is the rear o2s, but the light is coming on more frequently now and it's annoying. By the way, my warranty company allows me to go to any shop I want. Once they receive the invoice from the shop (via fax), the warranty company pays the shop the same day work is completed, over the phone with a corporate credit card. So I think the hassle of receiving payment is minimal. Just so you know. Do you guys have weekend hours? Thanks.

Tell you what... come on in, let us look at it, and we'll see what we can work out with your warranty company. Deal? :)

RevXtreme should be able to handle it. If not, we do aftermarket warranty work here at NLP if need be. Just give us a call if things cannot be worked out. Good luck to you.

The sponsor feedback forum sure has some really good things to say about them. I'd be comfortable taking my car to them.Sounds like you couldn't go wrong with them to me.My.02

For tuning and diagnostics my vote is for Mike Norris and NLP in Orlando. They've done excellent work for me in the past and have always gone way beyond the call of duty to make sure things were right. I personally can't say the same for the tuner that RevX is using so I can't help you there.

I agree. Mike Norris is top notch. We can only strive to be as reputable as him being that we're still fairly new in the industry. :)

Btw, did I tell you that Mike's my hero? :D

Okay Dan, what do you want :D We've got to get together one of these days when we can both find some "free" time, whatever that is. I was going to try to get to BMP on the 11th or 12th, whatever day the event there is, but I will be in Indy for the PRI show. A bunch of our cars will be there and i am sure Gary will find you if you are there. Talk to you soon.

Joe99SS,

Is that really you? Is the car ready yet and when are you coming to visit? Say hi to mom and dad for me.

Later,

Mike Norris

Yes, that would be nice. I think Pam would like that as well. Bring your lady boss along. ;)
