Default Will HP Tuners correct pcm for hotcam install

I am looking at doing a hotcam install on my 01 and was wondering if hp tuners is up to the task of straightening out the programming after the cam install. I realize there are other cams out there but I have had good luck with the general's performance parts packages in the past and prefer not to change. But If I cannot get the prgramming right I am screwed. Any help or suggestions would be nice. It is an A4 w4:10's longtubes lid and magnaflow with no cats.

It will allow you to make the best of it but that cam
is not held in very high regard. You might want to
check out the many alternatives (but get the tuner
regardless).

For a fairly stock vehicle what can I put in her to get more low and midrange punch. I'm open to suggestions but do not want to run a stall or trash the gas mileage to bad or get into valvetrain reliability issues. It gets driven about 3000 miles a month give or take. If you have a cam you like please leave the manufacturer and the part # so I can obtain it thanks.

I think I just got my last problem with my tune ironed out (man I hope so). If so it will have a hotcammed car that idles almost like stock at 900rpms, can cruise at 1500rpms, and hauls with a MAFless tune. I'll post the tune on the share site if it works out this time.

Oh crap...I just remembered...I'll probably need some touch-up work after my Shaner S3 goes on...LOL!

Well, if you have the first "canned tune" for a Hotcam
then that's worth putting up, TB or no. I don't think
anything before the intake manifold matters to SD as
the MAP tells you all about what got in.

Good point. I will post it after I re-test my results.
