patriot heads...
okay... lookin on ls1speed.com and i cant tell the difference in the bare and complete heads patriot offers.. if i didn't know any better id think they were all bare, but i readin the dec 04 chevy hipo magazine that stage 2 came with there dual spring titanium retainers ect ect... so basically that would mean the stage 2 patriot heads/cam package that includes chromemoly pushrods would be all id need to install the cam and have ported heads!?!?!! sorry im a lil confused...
but while im posting this, this may be a very old question, but im spraying a 150 shot and i guess im going to go with a 224/228 114lsa cam? or would 112 still work with spray? someone told me i needed 114. anyways.. what compression ratio am i looking for 10to1 or 10.5 to 1 if i wanna run 93 or 95 pump gas??

Their heads come complete with everything to install. I have them on my car and love them. I can't answer your question about the cam but i would say someone else could.

fully assembled heads normally come ready to bolt on.....minus rockers and such.
The cam doesn't need to be on a 114, nitrous just responds better to a somewhat larger LSA. Having an A4 most people run a 114 LSA just for drivability purposes anyhow.
If you want to run 95 octane pump gas, you can run a heck of a lot higher than 10:1 compression, stock is 10.1:1 and the LS6 crate runs a 10.6:1 if I'm not mistaken. More compression = more power if all other things are done correctly.

11:1 has been the general consensus where the LS1 fairs the best, but with nitrous, going higher is better, it just becomes more difficult to tune as detonnation becomes more evident.
