header install I am right in the middle of a header installation.......I am having trouble getting the very far back bolt that holds on the passenger side coil pack......any suggestions? Also, where is the bolt that holds on the oil dipstick tube?....is it easier to get the bolt from the top or bottom?.......Thanks

I left the rear most bolt in place and swung the coil packs up to gain some clearance. The dipstick tube bolt is accessible from the top (it has a flat piece of metal welded to the tube). Once that bolt is removed, pull the dipstick tube up. It might be in there tight so get a good grip. Good luck.

i took the dipstick bolt out from the top but it was easier putting it back in from the bottom...(have fun with that btw) and i never had to take the coil packs off so i dont know bout that...just take your time though..

have found that a 10 mm gear wrench works the best on the rearbolt on the coil pacs but also been know to leave it out on my car makes for faster plug changes every little bit helps.

Yeah, like Z-286speed said - unless you're installing Macs at home - go from underneath, it's MUCH easier that way with LT's. The dip-stick bolt is on the side of the head and is very easy to get to with a wobble 15mm or a short 15mm socket - once the spark plug wires are out of the way.

I also used a gear wrench and then left the bolt off when I re-assembled it. Also, I clipped off the bottoms of the little plastic screws underneath the cowl. Sure saves on scratches on you hands and forearms.

Removing the coil-packs makes things a lot easier when you go to change spark plugs - and it's A LOT easier to do without that bolt.
