pushrods well since i bought my car used, and tomarrow i'll have a few spare hours, i was thinking of checking for some bent pushrods. what would i have to do to take them out? (honestly i'm just looking for an excuse to play with my car)

Disconnect the coil packs, remove them, then remove the valve covers. Now remove each rocker and pull the pushrod. Roll it on a piece of glass. Replace if needed and put it all back together again.
Check www.ls1howto.com and follow a cam install; it will walk you thru removing the coil packs etc.
