Who has destroyed a 383 or 395

I've seen spun rod bearings, but none that have literally slung a piston thru the block or anything. A local guy here is spraying a direct port 300+ shot on his and has had no problems for a while now. I don't think there is anything wrong with a 382 at all and the only thing I can say about the 396 is the rod angle and were the pin placed up high in the piston.

piston speed for a 4 inch stroker 383 is the same as a 4 inch stroke 422 and up.
The 4.125 stroker motors have had a "few" issues especially reluctor wheel but I believe that is cleared up.

ran my 383 stroker 50 miles before it had problems. broke some valve springs and upon teardown the #8 piston had started crack from just starting to hit the crank. probably didn't help my rev limiter was at 6800-7k for quite a while. I beat on this motor a LOT also.
