Default Need help with 4400 stall

I upgraded from my TCI 3800 to a TCI 4400 on my stock internal car and I think I need to do some adjustments to the shifting. With the shift points where they were with the 3800 the car is slower by about a tenth in the 1/8th mile I'm shifting at 6100 and like I said it's just slower.

What do/did you guy have your 4400 shift points set at? 1,2,3 mph and rpm to shift and also what what about the rev limiter setting?

With a Yank TP-4400 I ran the stock 2001 shift points, once the HPP was available I tinkered with the rev limiter and shift points.

I eventually ended up with a TP-4200 shifting at 6200, rev limiter set at 6600. Tuning for my stock internals setup was Ed Wright's stuff.

So what your saying is that the shift points shouldn't make much difference between the 3800 and 4400

The shift points should not make much difference on stock internals. I used 6200 when I was stock internals.

Did your 60' improve? have you factored in weather, track prep, launch technique, etc?

60' didn't improve mph was down by 1mph and e.t. down by a tenth. I always correct my times for sea level just to see if I improve over the last corrected time.

Maybe I just need more time behind the new stall. I only got to run it 1 time with no adjustments to shocks, air pressure, and launch RPM, but being down on mph and e.t. for the corrected times confuses me

Examples of times from the week before the 4400 and the week after the 4400.

TCI 3800
11/19 DA= +861'

60'______1.62(spinning)
330'_____4.81
1/8______7.55@89.84mph

Corrected for 0' DA:

7.49@90.65

TCI 4400
11/28 DA= +949'

60'______1.59(felt like a dead hook)
330'_____4.85
1/8______7.58@88.86mph

Corrected for 0' DA:

7.51@89.75mph

Any ideas???

Update:

Went to the track last night and played around with the launch RPM, air pressure, and shock settings.

I figured out the TCI 4400 liked to be stalled up more than flashed. 3000 rpm seemed to work the best I ran a 7.36@90.8mph w/ 1.52 60' . The DA was -469 which corrected is still off my best by .03 e.t. and 1.26mph
Maybe the 4400 ate up some more hp over the 3800. I will find out Sat. when I dyno it again.
