I just wanted to ask how come I still only have 8 posts even though I have probably posted like 100 times?

Sorry i know this is the wrong forum for this but this is the only one I really talk in.

Post in the more technical areas = postcount and knowledge grows
Post dumb questions like this in here(non technical area) = you remain at post count 8, and still dumb. :P

I'm not trying to be an ass, just people need to get off the postcount topic.:)

One good technical post is better than 100 non-tech posts. That, after all, is the intent of LS1Tech.com. ;)

well scammers came onto the site, and we have a policy that you need at least 50 posts before you can sell something here.

so they hit up here and the lounge to post whore.


we came up with the solution to kill the post count here and a few other places. that is the reason why. post anywhere else and your count will grow.

Good point Gray. The minimum post count rule is in place to protect our members from fraudulent transactions with newbies. It's happened...far too many times. Non-technical posts in the tech sections generally aren't tolerated. Since scammers have no LS1 tech knowledge, they have no where to post to increase their post count.
