Default What exhaust are You running ?

Track only car 1999 Firebird
I have the Pacesetters long tubes with a non cat y pipe and Borla exhaust system. I am thinking about removing the system from the headers back ,installing an x pipe with split flow race mufflers or just put the mufflers on the headers. Has anyone done a dyno test before and after installing a true x pipe.

I'm running the same setup as you are, but the rasp was unbearable so I put a Borla XR-1 muffler in the I-pipe to quiet things down a bit.

For race only. I'd go 4" Mufflex system.

i would not skip the x-pipe idea, you'll lose torque.

I have Pacesetter LT's, ORY (with a flowmaster merge), Hooker catback. No rasp & sound good with the cam.
