Default BMW X5 vs Mitsubishi Mirage LS

Oh boy well the VP of my company drives a bmw X5 SUV and I ran into him on the way to work today and as I went to pass he cut me off, finally i got past him and he was on my *** then we hit a red light, he pulls up next to me, smiles and blasts right through the light, I called him and was like damn your a cheater and he was telling me this crap like (speeding isnt cheating why is running a red light) so I nail it after him when the light turns green and catch up to him, take a iffy shortcut (if he hits a green light he wins if he hits a red i win) well I dont know what he hit but he came back ahead of me somehow and I am doin about 100 in my daily driver rice machine all the way down the highway (he's passing on the shoulder) then he blasts through the tollway with his tolltag, I have to stop and put in change well he came in about 200ft ahead of me when we pulled into the office, wish me better luck next time

lol, sounds like a soar loser to me. I wouldn't bother stupping down to his level. Like I said, a soar loser hands down and not worth getting a ticket for.

Mitsubishi Mirage?? LOL, arent those things like one of the slowest cars made nowadays? I don't think you have much of a chance of ever winning when racing a guy in a much faster car(suv) who will do anything to win. Nice try though

Nope, no joke, I may want to take out the 98's tho because they are a bit faster, my buddys 98GT with O/R X pipe and catback is quite a bit quicker than the other 96-98's I have run, I ran into a nice 96-98 once and I had 3 people in my car, one was 310 lbs the other was about 150 and he pulled about a car from 20-60 and we were all laughing our asses off, maybe he wasnt on it? I used to have a v6 mustang and only lost by a car to a 4.6 up to 110mph, the non pi 4.6's are amazingly slow, tisk tisk ford!

Dude, no offense, but you need to put down the crack pipe. A mistubishi Mirage is a freagin 1.5L I-4 w/ a whopping 92hp! So we are talking around 75rwhp. Those cars are slower than a drunk snail. If you had 3 people in the car and one was 310lbs you couldn't outrun a freagin moped. Obviously the guy in that 96-98 was not even racing. I'd never expect that kind of a street story from a guy like you who has a really fast car. There are so many ignoramus's out there in these slow *** cars thinking they beat faster car's when the faster car's arent even racing. I get that all the time b/c my car is so loud people think I am actually racing, its funny sometimes. I know I'd never personally race a friggin mirage...thats just silly. I wouldnt even be able to tell if it was trying to race.

As I said before my girlfriend got one as a rental car one time and couldn't believe how slow the thing was. She said when she got back in the 1990 Cougar (LS with the 6cyl, not even the 8cyl model) that the cougar felt so fast in comparison, and believe me that cougar is no runner, lol.

I'm sorry but any year mustang GT will slaughter that thing. That Mirage is definitely in the top 10 of slowest cars nowadays, maybe top 3 even. Its certainly not built for speed, lol.

Oh my bad, 115hp, and I am sure some jaw dropping torque too....oh yeah thats enough to hang with a 215-225hp gt, I'm sure of it.

This is silly. I just get annoyed with people in these little **** cars that think they are faster than real sports cars. Reminds me of the time a guy in a little sunfire was yelling to me in the 94TA how my car has no horsepower (he was serious) and was trying to race me.

Lets take the 10HP per 100lb rule into account here, 2400lbs 115hp vs 3300lbs 215 hp that would put me pretty even with a 96-98 GT.

Im not a idiot, check my other theads, I have a real car too and im not full of **** but you can beleive what you like who gives a **** anyways.
