:drive: Does anybody have a better price than $225.95 plus $17.95 for shipping on the B&M 2004 GTO Short Throw Ripper Shifter? I want to buy one as soon as possible but also want the best deal as well.

These guys list the part number as 09024504 but that may be for their own catalogs.

B&M uses a 5-digit part number for their shifters. They start with a "45"

how many tenths do you think one of these would knock off of a 0-60?

None. It's driver ability that this will help you with. It will in turn make for crisper shifts, but you'll actually have to be able to drive for it to make any difference.

From everything i've read, the manual and auto run almost dead even times.

The manual will still trap higher and pull the auto on the highway.
