Default Morel Lifter Test...

Found this over on the HC50.com board:

Just heard some outstanding info about the Morel lifters.

A "major" camshaft company did some testing.

8400 rpm for 5 million cycles.

No failures

Did another "what if" test with the same set of lifters...

8400 rpm for another 5 million cycles.

Still no failures.

Sounds promising!

About 20 hours at 8400rpm?

What exactly does this mean to us? I mean, how does that compare to a typical oem style lifter?

I guess one would have to test an OEM style lifter to find out what it means. 8400 RPM's for 10,000,000 cycles sounds pretty good to me.

The ones we have used seem to work great. I don't know about any more power yet but they work fine.
