Default Will Long-Tubes Pass Smog w/cats?

I'm planning on buying a pair of LT's and a catted Y pipe with oxygen sensors for my 02 WS/6. If the headers have all of the factory smog provisions and cats and 02 sensors, then will they pass california smog?

My smog is going to be coming up again in a couple of months and I'd hate to have to reinstall the stocks for just one test.

Also, would someone tell me what the purpose of O2 simulators are, and will a car pas smog with them? Do they make more power?

i can't comment much on passing CA smog, but they will fail the visual test for sure. any relocation of stock cats are illegal. you can most likely pass OBDII testing as long as you have any codes deleted.

o2 sims are for when you remove the rear o2 sensors, its to trick the PCM into thinking they are still there. the other way to do that is getting them tuned out via edit or 'tuners.
