Hello All!
I'm new to this site and wondering if someone could help me out. I have a 95 v6 that I would like to swap out the v6 to a LT1 and was wondering first can it be done and what cost I'm looking at? Also parts I would need?
Thanks for your time and help!

I dont know much about the swap but check out the "conversions and hybrids" forum. There should be lots of good info for you there. Good luck. Heres a link.

So it's not really worth it. Just pays to buy a z28

From what I hear it doesn't seem to be worth it. On camarov6.com there are plenty of people who have done LS1 swaps in place of their 3800s though, you can check there for some info.

Definitely not worht it. Keep in mind you'll also have the V6's tiny front discs and rear drum brakes and non-posi rear. Cheaper and much less work to buy an LT1. The only valid reason to convert a V6 to an LT1 is if you got the car for free.. even then it's a lot more work than just selling it to buy an LT1 car.
